Utica
The City of Utica is geographically located in the center of New York State and lies along New York Interstate 90.  Genesee Street is the major thoroughfare in Utica running from the Town of Deerfield to the north and the Town of New Hartford to the south and divides the city east and west.  Downtown Utica is located approximately 1.5 miles from the Thruway exit.



From the Thruway: East or West

Take the Thruway to exit 31 (Utica) follow signs for Downtown Utica.
As you exit the ramp onto Genesee St bear right. Follow Genesee Street over the North Utica Bridge. Cross over Oriskany Boulevard. Franklin Square will be on the right.

From The North:
Take Rt 12 to the Downtown Utica Exit. Follow the signs. Merge onto Oriskany Boulevard east. Franklin Square will be on the right hand side just before the lights where Genesee Street crosses Oriskany Boulevard.

From The South:
Take Route 12 through Utica to the Downtown Utica ramp. Follow the ramp around to the light and then turn left. Take the ramp and merge onto Oriskany Boulevard east. . Franklin Square will be on the right hand side just before the lights where Genesee Street crosses Oriskany Boulevard.

Other arteries leading into the City of Utica include:
Oriskany Blvd (E-W) from Yorkville to the west of the city
Broad Street and Bleecker Street (E-W) from Frankfort to the east of the city
Route 5 (E-W) from Schuyler to the east of the city
River Road (E-W) from Marcy to the west of the city
